Would you like to receive encouragement in your Christian walk? Would you like to meet other Christian young ladies and families serving our King? We invite you to join us on our journey to Biblical womanhood! The Kings Blooming Rose is a magazine published quarterly intended to encourage girls in their Christian walk.
This is a ministry to encourage young ladies to grow in accordance with Titus 2 and Proverbs 31:10-31, in holiness and obedience to God and their parents. "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:11-13). KBR is geared toward young ladies ages twelve and up, but ladies of all ages are welcome to join us!
Each issue is themed, but we also feature non-thematic articles. In past issues, the theme has been topics such as siblings, serving, contentment, modesty, faith, and thankfulness.
The King's Blooming Rose began in February 2005, when homeschooler Sarah Bryant published the first issue. It was very small and sent to about twenty friends. The Lord has greatly blessed this ministry and over 200 girls now receive KBR all over the US, Canada, and beyond.
While Sarah handles much of the regular editorial work and design of KBR, her parents often offer guidance and entire family provides support--without it, this effort would be impossible. We are very grateful for the Lord's blessing of this ministry, and for various ways others support this effort!
We pray that everyone that reads this magazine will be inspired to live a holy and closer walk with our Saviour Jesus Christ. "That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works" (Psalm 26:7).
We are going on a short "vacation" this week in Missouri. Please pray for our safety! Thank you.
02.18.08 | THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
Do we remember that today Jesus is watching us--that all the time He sees our lives? We would be so much more careful of our words and attitudes if we remembered that Christ is present. He is watching and is displeased when we act selfishly. But He also sees every little kindness done in secret and will reward those. Remember His precious presence! Comments
